Marker No. 1: Live outside... together

We believe outside is better than inside. That outside doesn't have to be about bagging peaks or going on epic solo adventures. We eat, sleep, walk, hike, work, and play outside... everyday. All day. It's good for our health. Physical and mental. We believe going outside alone is boring. We like to share our outside with friends and family. Our dogs and our kids. We know that living outside is better when we include others. All others.

Outside is our happy place.

Marker No. 2: Be original in everything

We were not born to follow. We do not ask for permission. From the products we create to the events we host, we believe in making things that have never existed before. We will try anything. ANYTHING. We think it's fun. If we fail, we do it fast and live to play another day. We believe that originality is limitless, even when the budgets aren't. We thrive in being original when the odds are against us.

Our products solve problems with conviction. We identify unmet needs and envision solutions that the world has not yet seen. Our products help keep people safe and comfortable when they go outside. We protect their toes, keep them warm and dry, prevent them from slipping. Our fans trust us to protect them, and we will not let them down. They look to us to show them a better way.

We believe the world would be a better place if more people stood up and did the right thing. We believe in being there for others in the time of need. That tough times require tough action. That talk is cheap. We like to take action.

We believe in making our planet healthier and building strong communities. From the materials we use, to how we develop and make our products, to how we treat the folks who craft out trusted shoes, we are conscientious about what we make and how we make things. Our goal is to leave this place better than we found it.

It started with an original idea

In 2003, we asked: Can a sandal protect your toes? And then we just kept going. Can a shoe company save public lands? Can we build a shoe factory in America? We've always been difference makes who make shoes.
